Our homestead is a lifelong dream in the making. My husband, Jordan always dreamed of building his own home, and I’ve dreamed of living in the country and raising my babies with room to roam since I was a little girl. In 2020 we found our “dreamy” property in the hills just outside Silverton and spent the next 2.5 years pouring out all we had to build our dream from scratch. (literally.. Jordan worked full time building and came home to build on evenings and weekends, doing 95% of our house build himself) It was hard and not as dreamy as it sounds. But we finally moved in and have been slowly making it our home since then, adding a garden, farm animals, sheds, some landscaping and a yard.
